LIFE & DEATH
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Everyone of us will have to face DEATH. Are we prepared to meet our Lord? Are our lives an embodiment of our total love & commitment to God? Or are we transgressors & disbelievers? Reflect over the preceding verses & sincerely check your own spiritual condition. It is never too late to change so long as we still have LIFE, for we will never know – tomorrow may never dawn on us again.
The parable of those who reject Faith
is as if one were to shout like a goat-herd,
to things that listen to nothing
but calls and cries:
Deaf, dumb and blind,
They are void of wisdom.
[Baqarah 2:171]
Lo! Those who disbelieve,
and die in disbelieve,
the whole earth full of gold
would not be accepted from such a one
if it were offered as a ransom for his soul.
Theirs will be a painful doom
and they will have no helpers.
[Ali-Imran 3:91]
Every soul will taste death
and ye will be paid on the Day of Resurrection
only that which ye have fairly earned.
Whoso is removed from the Fire
and is made to enter Paradise,
he is indeed triumphant.
The life of this world is but comfort of illussion.
[Ali-Imran 3:185]
Say: “My prayer and my devotions
my living and my dying
all belong to God, Lord of the Universe:
no partner has He,
with that I am commanded,
and I am the first of the Muslims”
[Al An’am 6:163]
